Three Mission Trip participants were asked this question:
"What has been the best experience for you so far on the Mission Trip?"

Day Eight Summary

     Today we were split up into several crews to finish the outhouses and picnic tables at twin Pines Church, more painting at Blackwater Springs Church, and a large crew to stay here at Many Waters Mission for painting and repairs. As a result, all of the pictures today are of the Mission crew.

     We spent the day at Many Waters Mission weeding, sanding and painting interior walls, and using a bucket truck run by the experienced staff at the Mission to paint the exterior wall of the addition to the Mission. We had a few cuts and MINOR bruises to the ground crew, but everyone else got the job done safely.

     The Blackwater Springs Church crew came back once again spattered with paint and ICE CREAM from DAIRY QUEEN! Their driver Janet, who has had no offical picture posted yet showing her doing any work, (notice to Jill Lacey) mumbled a vague (and somewhat feeble), excuse that the team members held a frozen fruit treat to her head and FORCED her to drive to Dairy Queen. The investigation is still pending.

     The Twin Pines crew, worked late and finished all of the remaing work at their location, arriving late , hungry and tired at Many Waters Mission moments prior to this posting.
