DAY FOUR SUMMARY

Things were rockin' at the YWAM Training Camp today! We had an intense final teaching from our guest speaker Mitch. This guy has been so challenging and inspiring all week! One of the YWAM-Denver directors, Donna MacGowan, gave our group a very helpful cultural briefing today. It was a little intimidating. Somethings we might innocently think to say or do would be big "no-no's" with the Navajo people. Everything else is just common sense and common courtesy. We would greatly appreciate everyone's prayers for wisdom, discernment, self-control, and a supernatural ability to represent Jesus Christ well in every setting.

Our Creative Arts Teams had their final rehearsals today. Tonight we did a performance showcase for a group of middle-schoolers at a local Bible camp. All of our teams did extremely well! Once again, Cedarbrook Community Church can be super proud of the students and adults representing them. Over and over again, the YWAM Staff has asked Daren: "Where did you find these awesome people? And are there more where they came from?"

Tomorrow morning we are attempting to get both youth groups (33 + 13 people) packed, fed and on the road by 7:00 a.m. Believe it or not, we managed this near-miraculous feat last year. However, we would still covet everyones prayers for our departure - and the 12+ hour drive to Shiprock, New Mexico.

NOTE: We will be leaving Camp Rosalie eary Friday morning, and will be traveling for 12 hours or more by van to Ship Rock. We will try to post Friday's pix ASAP, but they will probably be later than usual.
